We offer four registration options:
- Workshop Pass (includes a one-day workshop plus the weekend conference)
- Weekend Pass (includes only the weekend conference)
- One-Day Pass (a pass for either Friday or Saturday)
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Writefest is a writers' festival taking place virtually in 2022, featuring panels, workshops, and readings by local and national authors. It is hosted by Writespace, Houston's grassroots nonprofit literary arts center. The festival kicks off with an advanced workshop on Friday and culminates in a weekend filled with panels and presentations by local and national writers, agents and book editors, literary journal editors of all genres, and readings by local and nationally-recognized authors.
Panels, Readings, Presentations, and Workshops
Conference programming takes place Saturday and Sunday, April 30-May 1 from 8:00am-5:00pm CST via zoom. We are using Sched for our event schedule. Once registered, you will be given access to the Sched site. The full schedule will go live in early April.
Workshops
The Writefest Workshop will take place via Zoom Friday, April 29th, from 9:00am -5:00pm CST. The Writefest Workshop is an advanced, in-depth workshop for writers seeking to level up their writing, taught by successful authors who are experts in their craft. Tickets for our workshops will be live soon.
Vendor/Exhibitor Space
We will host an online book fair with discounts for attendees. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please purchase a vendor space for $25. Panelists and instructors receive 50% off a vendor space.
